Looking for a New Year’s Resolution?

It’s that time of year again, Christmas is almost over and people are swarming towards the gym in an effort to relieve the guilt from over indulging over the festive season! But, if you’re still thinking of a New Year’s Resolution, we have the solution... why not do something to help improve a child’s life rather than vow to eat less chocolate, stop drinking or hitting the gym? Let’s face it, with exam season here, stress will have you back to your old habits anyway! The Cross River Gorilla Project is asking you to donate a pencil case, new or old so that we can send it to children in Cameroon, Africa who are facing a humanitarian crisis. Pop your pencil case and some stationery into one of our donation boxes in the Robbo or Student Union and we’ll do the rest. The Cross River Gorilla Project are aiding those in humanitarian crisis and continuing to support the conservation of the world’s rarest great ape. With just 200-300 of these amazing animals left on our planet, it’s time we all do our bit to save them and supporting those who share their habitat is a major part of that. So how about this year, you just resolve to be kind? #raceforthecase For more information about us visit https://www.crossrivergorillaproject.co.uk/.
