The walk will include a guided tour by naturalist Dr. John Daniels to highlight the local magic and unique biodiversity of the Northumberland coast and the worldwide need for sustainability.

WildWalk 2023 will offer a stunning mix of scenery including exciting geological formations, rock pools, wonderful unspoilt sand dunes, huge empty beaches (usually) with the possibility of perhaps seeing dolphins, seals, or coastal birds such as redshanks, gannets, oystercatchers and terns.

There will be experts on hand with specialities in geology, ornithology, marine biology, butterflies and native wildflowers which are found in this area of outstanding natural beauty. You can find sea glass, seashells, fossils such as the local Cuthbert’s beads (The Holy island of Lindisfarne,  home of St Cuthbert, is just a few miles further on).

The picnic - included with the entry fee - will have all sorts of delicious treats to suit all tastes, including vegetarian and vegan options.
